So what exactly is Rolfing?

Developed over 50 years ago by Dr. Ida Rolf, Rolf Structural Integration is a form of hands-on manipulation and movement education that systematically reorganizesfascia1the body’s connective tissue, called fascia.

Rolfing releases restrictions while realigning and balancing the whole body. It can help resolve pain and discomfort from many causes, including trauma, illness, repetitive motion injury, and aging.

Rolfing is also an excellent complement to yoga, Pilates, and other personal wellness practices.

Deep, Gentle, and Specific Touch
A treatment using Rolfing Structural Integration lengthens and expands your body’s connective fascia tissue.

This allows your muscles, joints, tendons, and ligaments to reorganize around your bones and internal organs in a more fluid and efficient manner.

The Ten-Series
The ten session series—developed by Dr. Ida Rolf—was designed as a progressive and systematic way to address all areas of the human body. Each of the ten sessions builds on the previous sessions. Most have specific themes and goals and focus on a different region of the body. Each session is carefully planned and executed specifically for the structural and functional needs of your individual body.
